– An intriguing and spooky premise gives way to a sagging middle and ultimately an anti-climax. It’s got a lot to commend it, in particular the grainy aesthetic, mysterious tone, and well-rounded cast, it just sadly doesn’t amount to much. I’d still recommend it for fans of this kind of dark and suspenseful drama though.
