– strangely unassuming and evenly paced drama sets the scene and introduces the victims of the 1992 Brazilian prison massacre, with much of the lengthy runtime dedicated to hearing about the lives of the inmates in their own words. It’s affectionate, and vaguely stirring, but honestly kind of underwhelming.
